  1. I will try Evernote with my students, it looks like it has potential. I like how you take the technology and use it to help facilitate the curriculum. The technology is not just a gimmicky device, it plays a role in helping the students become better organized in an engaging manner.

  2. I think through the AVID program and your use of evernote, your environmental science students would have everything they need to stay organized. Too often, I have students fumbling about in their book bags searching for this or that handout or homework assignment. It seems like your curriculum project would just about eliminate that problem.

  3. I really like that you asked for feedback from the students about how successful they were with different tools you had them use. I have never really thought about polling students about tools in the manner you did. Nice job with your project.

  4. Too many times we think that our students "enjoyed" or "learned" from a project we assigned, when in reality, they just did it to get it done. I agree with Jess in that polling students to find out if they truly got anything from the given assignment will give a lot more insight into what your students are capable of, and what is going to help them succeed the most. I also agree with the above people about how organized a student in your class would be using this technology.

  5. Great job with your project. Evernote looks really promising. Have you ever thought about using it for yourself? Sometimes I am very unorganized and I wonder if this tool would help me. I also put polls in my project and I think it would be interesting to see how the polls really work.

  6. Use of the polls seems like a great way to quickly get feedback from your students on the online course. I hope the inclusion of the evernote app will yield the positive results that you are looking for with your students. I have used evernote in the past and I really like it as a way to create more interactive notes.

  7. it seems like Edmodo was the popular teacher tool, but I think that this site is awesome and has lots of tools and resources. I did not use it myself, but I would have no problem using it. Anyways though you made a good unit plan. I have to say though your unit plan seems very thorough and I also liked the feedback. I have ask though why would you put educational standards on the student site? Not a big deal I was just wondering. Overall this is a great unit plan with a good presentation.
